Mark Perlmutter has been involved in alternative finance and impact advocacy for over three decades. He co-founded a citizen lobbying effort that contributed to the crowdfunding provisions of the 2012 JOBS Act, produced the first CrowdFunding World Summit, and co-founded Direct IPO. Through Planet Positive Investing, he is focused on accelerating values-aligned startup growth.

Founded as the Vegan Investing Club to accelerate plant-based and cruelty-free economic growth. We successfully matched our first five food-tech and consumer brands with eager retail investors.

Crossed 20,000 active investor members. Driven by community demand, we expanded our curation to include carbon capture, sustainable materials (timber bamboo, hemp wool), and clean home wind generators.
